Social Studies

Grade Levels: 6–9 or 9–12

Our social studies curriculum prepares residency license social studies teachers for middle or high school social studies classrooms. Modules begin with foundational units focused on the learner and learning, and later units focus on subject-specific pedagogy, including social studies instructional practices, lesson planning, and assessment.

Additionally, an edTPA module helps prepare candidates for this assessment.
